Second honeymoon and birthday getaway ❣ What can I say but WOW, from the time we arrived on Friday 2nd October it has been so relaxing,room is exactly as advertised as we in sun spa apartment,veiw overlooking Anzac park to beach, so spacious and comfortable. I have special needs and they catered to them, supplying shower chair,walk in shower,and bed that was so good I could take it home. Can not thank Daniel and Dana enough as well as lovely smiling staff. We booked taxi to go to marina for cruise on Lady Douglas and when taxi failed to show for booking Daniel drove us down no questions. One that we noted was sitting on balcony eating there was no flies or mosquito I would love to know how they manage that.I have stayed at lots of places over the years, but this is my favourite, only wish could stay longer. Again all thank you, we will be back one day.

Perfect location in Port Douglas We really loved staying at Club Tropical. The room was perfect, immaculate, spacious with a brilliant balcony kitchen, and with a view looking over Macrossan street. I would recommend this fabulous resort with their friendly staff and great service!!

Restful... Spent 4 days relaxing in the warmth. This accommodation was very quiet considering it was on the Main Street. Booked online and was as expected. We arrived after hours and it was an easy process to get our keys. Great accommodation.

Excellent Staff! The staff were very welcoming and wonderful. Always going out of there way to help. The room was very large, comfortable and well set out. Grounds were beautiful and well set up. Location was great next to the main shopping/ restaurant street and anzac park, as well as a short stroll to beach along main shopping street. Kitchen area is on balcony in our room, which was a bit odd to me but well set up, if you want to do you own cooking extra. Loved our 4 night stay there.

Luxury Plus Gorgeous unit with a water garden outside the door. All mod cons provided including a fully equipped outside kitchen. Both rooms were extremely clean and well cushioned! It seems unnecessary to add more details when I've said what I need to say.

The perfect location in Port! This was our 3rd stay in Club Tropical. We love coming to Port Douglas when we feel like getting out of Cairns for a few days. It’s so close, but you feel like you’re actually on holiday. We’ve stayed in a number of places in Port, 5 star resorts, 4 star Hotels, and even the caravan parks. For convenience to everything Club Tropical is definitely the winner on location. Situated directly opposite the Court House, we arrived on the Sunday to live music, and a great atmosphere on the street. The markets were still on, so the crowds were pumping. The accommodation is clean, tidy, and well equipped! We brought an esky full of beers, bubbles & nibbles, and still had room in the large sized fridge. The bathroom looked updated since our stay last year, which was a nice touch. The beds & pillows are extremely comfy, and once again I forgot to ask what brand pillows they were...(if management are reading this I’d love to know!) The pool is a little dated, but it’s clean, tidy, and a nice surprise was that it’s heated! Sounds funny for FNQ, but when you’re a local you get acclimatised to the tropical weather up here, and this time of year it’s a little cool to use a pool. So it was definitely a nice touch having it warmed up to 28’c as the guy told us! The spa bath by the pool is a little warmer too...we spent a good few hours just sat in there relaxing before dinner. All in all, Club Tropical is one of our favourite spots to stay Port. Yeah it’s nothing flash or luxurious, but the location and friendly staff make up for that! Highly recommend staying here! Love this place! We stayed at Club Tropical once again in October and we could not fault it, our room was fabulous very spacious with everything you could need. The location is perfect so close to everything Port Douglas has to offer. The resort pool and pool area is well maintained. Kel at reception was happy to organise all of our day trips and anything else we needed. We will definitely be returning!

So In love with this accommodation. The service amazing. So impressed heading back in a few months for short stay. Great location.

My husband and I recently stayed at Club Tropical while visiting Port Douglas for a wedding. We were so impressed by the spacious room and the friendly service. I felt very valued as a guest, the emails prior to arrival were clear and informative, our late check-in was simple and streamlined, and the location was PERFECT. We would 100% recommend staying here and we will definitely choose to stay here again when visiting Port Douglas in the future.

30 nights fully relaxed beautiful place Great location right in the heart of the CBD. Easy walking to restaurants, pubs, supermarket shops and marina. Rooms are spacious all having kitchens on the balcony,so no food smell in the room. If staying longer than 14 days I would recommend not having a room looking over Macrossan st as the music becomes repetitive. The pool area has shade and sun all day and a warm 23°. Staff are friendly and so helpful, they can book any of the tourists trips for you. The laundry is clean with 2 washing machines, 1 dryer and a wash tub.
